What is MarketWatch?
MarketWatch, published by Dow Jones & Co., tracks the pulse of markets for engaged investors with more than 20 million visitors. The site is a leading innovator in business news, personal finance information, real-time commentary, investment tools and data.

The project background
Recently, i started becoming interested in Finance/investment. As a MarketWatch user, I encountered many problems. The current branding and UI was outdated and was due for a revamp. I wanted to revamp the app and brand to bring it inline with the current design trend.

User persona?
The user persona for the current platform is aimed at middle aged investors 35-55. By making the UI more user friendlier, the app can be promoted to younger adult audiences who are looking to get into investing in the stock market.
